There have been dozens of remakes and adapted versions of this novela, including the super popular American version, Ugly Betty. Based on the 1998 film, the serial, which ran from February to.

Octavio asks Maricruz if she is telling the truth. She says yes, “I only loved once with all my heart and I will never do it again.” The man who just hours (minutes?) earlier was telling his friend that he can’t simply forget about his child now suddenly tells Maricruz that he will speak with the lawyer and give up ALL his rights to the baby. She calls him a coward again and asks if he will marry Simona. He hesitates then answers no, but she knows better: “You WILL marry her. Your ambition finally took control of you.” She caresses his cheek and tells him: “Go with her, but you will not be free of me so easily. I swear you will not be free of me so easily.”. Maricruz promises Octavio: “My hatred will pursue you wherever you go.” He assures her that her hatred will not reach him where he is going, as if she doesn’t know exactly where Simona’s farm is.

She leaves with the baby and Oblivio “the weakling” practically collapses into Simona’s arms, bemoaning that he will not see his baby girl grow up, nor will she ever love him. (Cry me a river, boy, you just gave her up without even blinking.) Simona assures him that he can still see his daughter, but he doesn’t believe Maricruz will be going to Simona’s ranch any time soon. (Oh, Oblivio, if you only knew.). Doris and Mariana arrive at the airport and catch a glimpse of Maricruz leaving with the baby. Doris hurries towards Octavio before he can board the plane and starts screaming for all around to hear: “I came to say goodbye to you, criminal.” She grabs his weak fist and touches it to both of her cheeks, pathetically pretending that he is hitting her. She is still screaming like the BSC woman she is as he heads towards the plane.

She wants to follow him right into the plane, but Ed intervenes and demands that she leave if she doesn’t have a boarding pass. Octavio and Simona are now in Mexico City with Lucia and Miguelito. I must say Lucia is suddenly looking quite youthful.

Simona recounts to Lucia the disagreeable scene Doris caused at the Isla Dorada airport. They are discussing how well Miguelito is doing, and Octavio points out they have no more money worries – (of course, because they all only live in the present. Who cares if the money will run out in about another week. Worry about it then.) Lucia declares it was “a blessing” that the ranch was sold, which is quite odd when she knows it was sold to her worst enemy. Minor detail. A manila envelope is delivered to Maricruz at her villa. She opens it and out come the pieces of Octavio’s expulsion order, along with a note from the guv saying he has kept his promise and expects to get his “reward” in return.(cut to very brief and useless scene with Octavio, Simona and Ofelia.).Back to Maricruz, who says she will safeguard those torn papers until the right time.

Moments later, someone else is at her door. It’s the island’s police chief, there to inform her that she better sell her properties there quickly and leave, before they give her only 24-hours to leave too. Once he departs, Maricruz tells Juanita that it’s time for her to leave the island too. She has nothing to retain her there, not even the casino.

She has to return to Mexico, to the place of her childhood, where she suffered hunger and cold, the place where she fell in love, then was abandoned, blah, blah, blah. Esther tells JackAss that she is his wife and doesn’t have to live in a degraded way like all the women in Realengo do. If he wants her to be hard with him, then she will be. She thought he had self-initiative, but now she has discovered that he was “born to receive orders”.

She adds: “Everyone who lives here should have a better life, but they have adapted to living in misery, and I’m not going to do it.” (Really? I’d say she adapted quite well, given how dirty and disheveled she looks for most of her pregnancy and beyond.) She warns him that from now on she will be different. For added effect, she gives him a light punch in the chest and leaves him standing out in the open as she heads back, full of self-assurance, into their shack.

Latina- I love your title and haiku. OK, so Ewsebio has a twin brother, who’s out for revenge against the Narvaez.

Get in line, buddy. Maybe it’s not a good idea for Solita to return to the ranch if this guy us going to be creeping around. Even if he isn’t a rapist, like his brother, just think how traumatic that would be for her. And since Mari hasn’t bothered to find out who raped her (only her own traumas are important), she won’t get what’s up with Solita. I did feel Mari’s tearful goodbye to Tav was ridiculous since she knows she bought his ranch and will be his neighbor soon enough. But I loved when she called him a coward. Truer words couldn’t have been said to describe him.

Shell of a man fits too. Carlos- I really have never seen a weaker/lamer galan.

(Rogelio in LQNPA was the biggest douchbag.) I can’t believe he was willing to give up his daughter, just because he’s been expelled from one tiny island. It’s not like he was expelled from all of Mexico! I did laugh when just two scenes later Mari was willing to throw in the towel and give up when faced with the same threat, so it kind of weakened her coward argument a bit. Hey, I know how we can wrap up this Isla Dorada storyline in one episode, in a neat little bow Karim gets ticked off at Doris for trying to expel Mari.

He has her killed. The Gov, with the police chief in tow, comes after Karim for what he did to his daughter.

Karim pulls out his little curved knife just as the Gov has him pinned to his desk, strangling him, and stabs the Gov to death. The police Chief shoots Karim dead, and one of Karim’s men throws a dagger at the police chief, killing him. Teo takes over all of Karim’s assets (due to some clever paperwork he had Karim sign), including his part of the casino. Teo also becomes the new Gov of the Island.

He and Raiza make peace, make love, and become equal partners in the casino, and in running the island as the Gobernador and Gobernadora. Marina and Tony lock eyes, fall in love, and Raiza and Teo leave them to run the casino. (And on to Tamaulipas.). Vivi, what wonders you did with this episode. Like watching yo-yo's with these people.

But I agree about the kiddies and Daniel A. Sexiest moment that man has had. I mean nothing better than a man who is awesome with the kiddies. And little Lupita, such a flirt, sure likes her some Daniel. Who listened to the drivel he was spewing with his character.I just focused on the smiles and coos.

A Karim sighting. He won't let MC slip away so easy, and my guess is since we have Tav hooking up with Simona, I betting MC gets with Karim.

Which also begs the question.WTH happened to TEO in this mess?? If Doris shows up on the ranch, my vote is for a 'friendly encounter' with Moctavio. I would so enjoy the little guy getting his mitts into her perfect hair and watch her freak out. A twin Ewwwssssbio?

Latina, what a great haiku and recap! Maybe Maricruz is not losing her edge so much on Isla Dorada as just being more interested in escaping the gov's repayment plan, actually taking possession of the Narvaez ranch and keeping Octavio on his toes. The whole 'coward' conversation with Octavio shows that Maricruz has had his number for a long time. She even knew he would be marrying Simona.

What will his character have to do to be worthy of her love in the end? Can he do anything to be worthy of her love? Just thinking that he would have to rescue her from something or someone which would presuppose a bad problem for Maricruz that she could not get out of by her self. 'Juarever' it is going to be fun! At least there was a mooonkey sighting in Octavio's reminiscing about the 'good old days' (for him and the mooonkey at least) on the ranch. Latina, great job, I loved all your comments about the absurdity of every situation.

I was experiencing them too. Can this show get more ridiculous and nonsensical?

Unfortunately yes. How many times has MA declared that Lupita has no father and she will raise her by herself? How many times did Octavio threaten to take over custody of her? Now he gives her up totally, and MA is sad that she won't have a daddy. What kind of place lets the daughter of the governor have as much power as the governor?

None of this expulsion plot makes any sense. Now Eusebio has a twin?!? Good God, this is stoopid. Did they regret too late that they killed him off so this is how they bring him back? I would believe it more if Eusebio just didn't actually die from the shooting, and Miguel thought he did. Vivi, you have too much time on your hands to come up with your alternative plot, lol.

Thank you for the very entertaining recap, Latina, it made me giggle more than once. I totally get your frustration, although I can't say I share it, because I simply don't care about any of these people. That talk at the airport was sooo ridiculous!

I have no more words to describe how much MC, Tav and their supposed love story turn me off - they are both truly HORRIBLE, no amount of good acting could ever salvage this story for me. What they said in their 'goodbye' scene made no sense, nor will it make any tomorrow when they say the exact opposite.

I still can't believe this tn is so popular in Mexico! How on Earth.

Latina, what a great recap and I love your title and your commentary throughout is hilarious. My favorite line: 'But, surprise, surprise, Octavio doesn’t recognize the man or the voice.' Who could have guessed that Octavio might not recognize him? My heart soared when I saw Eusebio, I hope that he survived that bullet to the head so he can face some real Maricruz vengeance. Death was too easy.

So Vivi, I hope you are wrong about him being a twin, however if he is, then I think it would be great if he's the good twin. It would be fun for us to embrace someone who looks just like a crazed drunken rapist. Maybe he could even turn out to be a good father figure for his nephew. I'm actually a bit excited about the return to the ranch.

I love your wrap up for things on the island, Vivi. I'd miss Doris, however. Variopinta- The airlines does/would care that Tav is a criminal. That's why he's no longer a pilot and was just a passenger on this flight. That's also why he thinks he has no other choice but to return to the ranch and become Simona's trophy husband. Of course, we know the ONE AND ONLY COPY of the expulsion order has been ripped up, but it doesn't seem that Tav actually checked in with his employers to see if they had been informed he is a 'criminal' on Isla Dorada. Who cares about little important details like that though?!

The plot says everyone must go back to the ranch, and the monkey writers will find any way to accommodate that, even if it means people doing things that make no sense. Vivi - I love your Isla Dora extermination plan. Do you think this could be accomplished in one episode, or maybe between commercials?? Zero configuration networking pdf tutorials. This Guv, SUD, Karim stuff is getting really old.

Teo/Angle and Raiza would make a perfect couple and a great Guv and first lady. They have my vote. I love the interaction between Daniel Arenas and baby Lupita. She can not take her eyes off of him. I noticed her little hands reaching out to touch him. What a touching addition to the story. Thank for you insightful comments.

Latina, Loved the B.O.R.I.N.G. Tribute to Octavio as well as the Haiku. And your world-weary disgust at the inconsistencies, absurdities and contradictions in this plot and these characters.

For me, I only concentrated on one thing last night. How Well Daniel Contreras holds babies. Maricruz handed her off like she was a Cabbage Patch doll. But Octavio rounded his arm around the baby so there could be no slippage with the hand off and then continued to do a terrific job of interacting with and flat-out loving that little baby.

Either he has a ton of nieces and nephews or he is just a natural with infants. But he's a pleasure to watch with that darling child. For the rest, phooey.

Tho' I could go for Vivi's wrap it up now scenario! LatinainMD-It was hard to get thru your scepticism and scarcasm but I must thank you for the recap anyway. Maybe it's best that I don't understand Spanish as I truly enjoy the scenes and the story behind them.- The goodby scene at the airport was pricless, maybe not the words that were spoken but the look in Oblivio's and Mari's eyes was Oscar worthy. She has to return to Mexico, to the place of her childhood, where she fell in love, then was abonded, Blah, Blah Blah. Blah, Blah, Blah NO!!! That was a touching, beautiful flashback memory scene which sets us up for the stories next phase. Mari doesn't have to sell her ownership in the casino, Razia and Karim can run it in her absence.

Alegria-Octavio never said that he was sorry or begged for forgiveness-BUT HE WILL. Daisynjay-I don't see a MC/Karim in the future but I do like your idea of Mocativo in Doris' perfect hair. LOL Carivivile-A wrap up?-NOOO0, 100 more episodes would be great. I hope that Oblivio doesn't hook up with Simona but it looks like it's going to happen. Which leads me to the other dumbass JA Dumbass.

Looks like Ester is going to straighten him out. Realengo needs someone with foresight and determination. I can't wait to see if she teams up with Maricruz to help the local people. I'm not sure about the EWWsebio twin, I was thinking that it was EWWsebio's ghost/spirit.

Why didn't he look up? Can't wait for tonight. One last thing-With all of the negative comments, as of 10AM PDT, CI is Kickin' ASS. CI 32 comments- La Temp. 11, - Peam 8 - QBA 6 the gringo.

And one more thing. I cant see Octavio and Simona together. She looks like his older sister. And he acts like she is his older sister.

Daniel looks younger then he is in real life. And his style in novela makes him look younger. Isadora looks good for her age, but she older then Daniel and with this new image she looks more beautiful and more older. And I really don't like pairs, where the man is younger. And it's obvious, that he is younger.

In Marimar Inocencia aka Simona looks ok for Sergio. It just occurred to me how Juanita (and Solita) is so lucky, she wears sneaks and even gets to eat whatever she wants for lunch because there is always a sweater tied around her waist. And still she looks just as beautiful as the divas. Teo Angel buying Mari's half would be neat, but as Angel he is also Karim's assistant. So would he have to put the prosthetic makeup on for the sale? If Dumtavio is continually considering marrying women for money, does it not occur to him just to flatter Mari and all she has could be his? It would be more satisfying if she lost everything first, and then he got on his knees to beg her forgiveness, because while she has money, I would never trust him if I were her.

Whether it is EWWsebio's twin or his ghost/spirit, it looks like the Narvaez' are in for a rough time ahead. Well, at least Oblivio, I don't know if Miguel will come back Can't wait to see what Lucifer may be up to. I hope that she doesn't trash the house when she comes to pick up her things. Where is she going to put her things?

In storage Ester and Maricruz working together to better the lives of the people of Realengo??? What is to become of crazy Doris? Ship her Houston. Let Carlos deal with her. Please Mari, Don't sell the casino. It's a good steady stream of income.

Film Serial Maricruz Telenovela 2

Thanks Latina. Title is aptly haiku-ed.

Vivi, bloody hell good packaged story. I like the Lupita flirting with the dad. What can I say about the wishy-wsshy Oblivio. I'm having nightmares over Ewwsebio's return if indeed he is not 'The Other'. Alegria, you're so accurate with the saintly Simona.

I was wondering why should she be called a saint when she did nothing to help or support MC then and clearly she was one of them who would readily mock and look down on MC. All she wanted was Oblivio and for me she can have him.

.Ahem, hi patio peeps, I'm sitting here with my laptop trying to figure out how to start this recap, I tried to get out of writing it, I considered faking my own death and then thought that was just too drastic, then I thought about just posting a discussion page and telling you folks there would be no recap because I got a case of smallpox, but then I realized Carlos would call me out on it so thought better of it, I also thought about coming down with a case of the bird flu and swine flu, but again thought better of it. I have watched Judge Judy, gone on Twitter, checked Facebook a million times and even walked down to the corner liquor store in search of booze, yes, this show has made me turn to the bottle. Anyhoo, it is now midnight and I figured I should just get it over with.

I hope you enjoy. We start with Maricruz sitting in jail, she's going to take the blame Alfonso's murder, Octavio will take care of Lupita and she loves him so much that she will sacrifice herself for him. She talks to herself about how none of this would of happened if Alfonso had not painted her in the nude, he brought shame on her and Octavio could not handle it. She will stay in jail to protect him! Later she receives a visit from Mercedes who is more upset about the fact that she is not going to be able to get married after all than she is about the fact that someone died.

Mercedes tells Maricruz that she wanted to marry Alfonso, he was an ARTIST, and handsome and that was good enough for her, sure he was only getting married to her because his parents were forcing him to and yes, he was a male slut but hey she reasons, that's the best she could hope for in a mate but now she will be forever alone because she's and I quote 'ugly'. I don't know how I managed to keep myself from throwing something at my television, this is also when I went out in search for booze, true story. In the police station the officers discuss the case, they have two suspects, both of them have confessed but there is one minor problem, the murder weapon has two sets of finger prints, Octavios and someone else's but oddly enough Maricruz's finger prints are not on the weapon. One of the officers says that maybe they cleaned the weapon down to erase her finger prints and that the other set of prints could belong to the person that sold the knife to Maricruz, but what does it matter? They both agree that this is not their problem and that it is better to have two suspects than none.

Ah, it warms your heart to see how hard working these two officers are, always looking for justice. In another part of Mexico Alfonso's parents are distraught over the loss of their good for nothing son- correction, Alfonso's mother is upset, the father seems to be of the opinion that his son got what he deserved. He never should have painted Maricruz in the nude, women are not to be treated that way, they need to be cared for and respected. I'm a bit horrified that he seems to think that painting someone in the nude is an offense worthy of death. His wife states that she wants revenge! She wants Maricruz to rot in jail.

Someone please tell her how the last chick that wanted revenge in this telenovela ended up. Later we see Alfonso's funeral, I'm glad to report that we had a good turn out, Miguel would be jealous. I can't help but be distracted by one of the extras in that scene, the dude looked like he was about to burst out in laughter.

After the funeral Alfonso's mom and her friend- Mercede's mom whose name I never learned talk about that awful Maricruz, Alfonsos' mom tells her friend that she is so alone now, Alfonso was her only child and the only thing that will sustain her is getting revenge on his killer, Mercedes mom reminds her she's not alone, she has her husband and friends. Sometime later Mercedes joins her mom and tells her she feels badly for Maricruz, who is just unlucky. He seems to have made up his mind and runs off to to find crazy Doris, he explains that he needs money for a lawyer, and she agrees to give it to him, on one condition-he must agree to marry her (Eli hits head against the wall) and get this patio peeps, he agrees! Has this man learned nothing about getting married to people you don't love? Does he not remember how that worked out the last time? Por el amor de dios! Also in a move straight out of a Friends episode he is told that he can not contact Maricruz again.

Oooh I almost forgot she also wants to get married right away, and she wont give him the money till they have tied the knot. He manages to talk her into giving him the money sooner and she agrees, he then hires a lawyer for his beloved. Maricruz gets a visit from the attorney who explains that Octavio has hired him to defend her, she wonders how he got the money to pay the attorneys fees but is told not to worry, he has been paid and will be there to try and get her out of jail. Next thing we know she is being transported to what I can only guess is another court house, there she will give her declaration and then be sent to the women's prison. Her attorney tells her to say that she killed Alfonso in self-defense but Maricruz refuses, she is all like 'yeah I killed him and what?' , she refuses to change her story and is distraught to find that she can be in the pokey for up to 30 years.

That's not enough to get her to tell the truth or change her version of the events so off to the big house she goes. Her punishment is not just being behind bars, that's bad enough but to make it worse she has to wear a bad prison outfit, brown is not her color.

Eli- I laughed so much reading your opening paragraph. Glad you survived the recap. I didn't watch the episode last night, but I can picture it all. What craziness. I'm surprised that Al's dad is taking the killers side. That the only surprising thing about this episode. So, instead of pleading self defense, which would mean she'd stand a chance of getting out of jail while her daughter is still a minor, MC prefers to play the stone cold killer so that she will get the max sentence.

I laughed when I read the cop's theory that MC somehow wiped off her own prints, but not the prints of the person who sold her the knife. Your opening is just brilliantly funny!

I feel your pain! But you know what? What can we expect from a person with MC's background? She didn't grow up in nor have models of healthy human relationships.

Yeah, Gramps loved her and Solita but the 3 Rs and social graces Pop Ale schooled her in for a few months don't make up for what one learns in the give and take, ups and downs of normal human relationships. Juanita is the common sense and 'mother wit' MC could've had under other circumstances. Juanita is the best thing that ever happened to Lupita.

Now that she's taken Lupita to her idiot Dad, let her get the hell out of Dodge and find some normal human relationships of her own! I don't know what his excuse is. He's just a damned fool: weak willed, spineless and easily manipulated because he doesn't trust his own thoughts and feelings. The blood flow is definitely misdirected in this idiot. OK, nobody's perfect but in a telenovela it's not good for the two leads to become brain dead, contemptible morons when once they incited sparks and flames of passion. Oh well, I guess the idiot side of the scale is really heavy in this little adventure.

Loved the recap, Eli, thank you so much! @Eli - I feel your pain. I didn't rewatch this episode, but I remember it well. Did you notice at the end, when the priest and JackAss heard the news, that THE PRIEST had a cell phone? Also, they were still in the shack-cum-church he had before MC supposed built him a new church. By the way, this line had me choking on my hot oatmeal a moment ago: 'Someone please tell her how the last chick that wanted revenge in this telenovela ended up.' I must say that as awful as C.I.

Has gotten, it is still so entertaining reading all the recaps and comments. But writing a recap.not so much. I feel your pain, Eli. I'm just so glad that I only have one more recap to write. I really feel your pain Eli. I feel it on my recap day too. Thanks for slogging through it though.

I love the turn of events this has taken because this show is a lost cause anyway, so why not make it the most ridiculous it can be? I truly think that the writers feel this way too. So MC is surprised that she is sentenced to 30 years for murder. What did she think the sentence would be?

It often is a life sentence. Where is Juanita with an alibi for her? Weren't they together when the murder took place? Remember, on Planet Bizarro you can magically wipe off your fingerprints and leave the rest of them on it. Old Cathyx would be thinking: Octavio wavered back and forth when he heard that Lucia mistreated and lied about MC, so why wouldn't he do the same about her killing Al? But didn't Octavio arrive just as the crazy painter guy killed him?

Why is there any doubt in his mind that the painter was the killer and not MC? Why would MC make such a sudden about face over Octavio? Did she forget that she saw Doris and him kissing? Not only an about face, but take the rap for something she didn't do when she used to do anything and everything to protect her daughter from him. Remember she said that no one will ever separate her from her daughter. New cathyx is thinking: Who cares? Just pop the popcorn and open the bottle of wine and go along for the ride.

Film Serial Maricruz Telenovela

Thanks for the great recap! Obviously neither MC or Tav have watched enough Law and Order to know how to present 'reasonable doubt'. The fact that both confessed is enough to get them both off. They should be working together to play off each other's confessions and motives. I don't know what to say about tomorrow's previews. MC running into Carola Conseca, not just in the jail, but in her own cell.

Maricruz Telenovela Acasa Tv

I know Vivi, nothing is too much for this show and yet I'm still surprised by it! Eli, you got me to cracking up with your opening paragraph and then your actual recap was every bit as hilarious. Not bad for a short girl. I thought I was joking yesterday when I said: '.when you have two confessors to a crime do you really need to cloud the issue with a little detail like fingerprints on the knife?' The cop said almost the same thing, but he was being serious. Vivi, 'So, instead of pleading self defense, which would mean she'd stand a chance of getting out of jail while her daughter is still a minor, MC prefers to play the stone cold killer so that she will get the max sentence. Well, she doesn't want to besmirch the memory of Mexico's greatest painter since Diego Rivera.

Film Serial Maricruz Telenovela Online

Yes Eli, I did enjoy it-well, not Maricruz sitting in jail but I guess that's the way the writers singular or plural? want it. LOL it's not funny but you did throw in a few really good lines.-With a good funeral turnout, Miguel would be jealous.Let One Cell flip a coin. So funny, he might as well.-The Mexican police department warms our hearts-not. Mexican justice? Eli-I do think that the alcohol was getting to you last night, I hope that you are ok this morning. Mari's prison attire was a medium to dark gray, not brown.

Anonymous 6:12-you had me laughing. Yes, Maricruz pulled out the Q-tips from her purse and went to work on those fingerprints Cathyx-Wine and popcorn? I have never done that. Is that the norm on Planet Bizarro? Carvivlie-You mentioned it yesterday.

My answer is yes, it's very hard when you are trying to enjoy a novela and every day you read a mountain, A MOUNTAIN of negative comments. I have a neighbor who attended USC Every year he strongly supports USC football.

I have been ribbing him pretty hard about their recent losses. He sent me an email and all that it said was 'never give up.'

I won't, I won't, I must believe that one day soon Maricruz and Octavio will be sharing the 'happy ever after.' Thanks, Eli, for being a good sport and recapping this.show. Emerald rose.here I am. How sweet of you to look for me. It is always nice to be missed in real life or in cyberspace.

Truth is, life is a little crazy/busy for me, and I am trying to watch two other novelas.Robo and Siempre Amor, so I only surf into this one now and then. I try to read the recaps and comments, but I haven't commented much lately because.I have no words to explain what is unfolding before our eyes.

Cathyx.hmmm.wine and popcorn.I have to try that. Wine makes me sleepy. A doctor acquaintance told me it has to do with the nitrates or nitrites or something. I do like Asti Spumante which doesn't make me quite as sleepy, and I try to have a little red wine each night as part of my wellness program.heh. Question.do you think that wanting things to make sense is part of our culture? Do we have a harder time suspending disbelief than some other cultures? Re MC's hair: Her hair in prison is believable.

If I wash my hair and don't do anything to it and just let it air dry, it looks like that. If I want it to look 'tamed' all I do is use leave-in conditioner, blow dry it and either flat-iron it (for super straight) or hot curl it (big curling iron) for wavy. A little spray of olive oil sheen (non-greasy, of course) and voila! I believe AB's hair in this tn is her own, without the use of extensions (I could be wrong, of course). That's one good thing about this tn - MC and Oct both have a beautiful head of hair! Thanks Eli, wonderful recap. Gringo, I'm with you 200 percent about 'these negative comments' especially of the main heroine of the story.

This is the only tn so far that I have seen that the bloggers so vehemently dislike the heroine. She is now in her lowest point of her life and like a dead horse she is still beaten. A lot of heroines are usually not perfect too and I agree that MC is largely imperfect but none give her compassion or sympathy for how she has ended now. She is really a tragic Greek character. This is just me. Why do the bloggers think all the antagonists here such as Lucia, Simona, Doris are even considered with such a change in character as to be saintly(Simona) and given good reason for being bad and evil(the tumor in her brain), etc.etc.

Why Lucia was killed so early.Frankly, no matter if they say Awfelia is a very loyal maid, I still say she can go to hell. Oh well, Gringo, I am with you, I have faith in MC only, I wish she could end up with a good man to love and support her and not necessarily Octavio. I also watch 'Revenge' and sometimes her revenge goes awry but it is a 'Revenge' novella so I just follow what she will do next.
